Since 1996
After working at the heart of the Indian carpet industry in Mirzapur,UP for 8 years, our founder, Jairaj Patel, started Akara in 1996.
We have been exhibiting at International trade fairs since 2004, and are currently exporting to over 50 countries.

We have a small team of 42 people managing various aspects of the company.
More importantly, we have 500+ weavers managing the weaving activities.
priorities
We prioritize quality and timeliness above all else.
We let our products do the talking, and hence invest more in product research, design and development, than marketing.
